Mentoring Initiatives - Attract & Retain
DLJ will "walk alongside" your organizations leaders to increase retention and create a positive current of diverse leaders and customize short and long-term mentoring strategies to better attract and engage diverse members/volunteers as part of your organization.
Cross-Cultural Competencies Workshops
To ensure that your organizational goals are met, we offer facilitator led workshops focused on developing cross-cultural competencies. Presented in a retreat format, DLJ offers another successful way to focus on the benefits of diversity within an organization without the stresses of everyday work. We plan organizational retreats with a diversity and inclusion focus for employees at all levels, to unearth hidden bias, and help transform the culture.

Team Building programs are offered in custom-designed, two to three-day retreat formats, with pre-scheduled follow-up segments at regular intervals. Focus is on three sequential levels of team interaction and influence through workshops and educational programs.

Project, Faith and Public Health Initiatives to Cardiomyopathy Research, EKG Screening, Mental Health First Aid, Diabetics Training, and other forms of Chronic Illness. Through a team of highly qualified and trained practitioners from a network of professionals in medical, nursing, social services, spiritual care, mental health and occupational therapy are deployed to strengthen families and communities.

Pastoral Relations
Clergy & Spouse Care
Pastors and their Spouses face unique challenges because of the nature of pastoral work, and yet most manage these challenges successfully.
We at DLJ Consulting have a team of ordained clergy, social workers and clinical practitioners who focus on those in pastoral ministry. Why is this important to DLJ? We know first hand. Our founder, Dr. Darryl Jenkins is an ordained minister of the gospel and has coached pastors and spouses, and has also benefited from coaching.
We walk alongside faith based leaders to encourage, coach and allow time to create a circle of care to those who care for others. This includes pastor and spouse retreat, congregational care, leadership training and development as well as specialized training in Mental Health First Aid, Discipleship and Companionship to strengthen clergy, congregation and community in which the local church serves.
